Part one of the rant
Just let me rant about this boy okay?
This rant will lat over a number of days. Stick with it.
So if you know me or have been following me for a while, you are well aware that I know this boy named John and have been complaining about him for quite awhile. So I’m going to start from the beginning of the story of him and I. You can read if you’d like. I don’t really care at this point.
It started in September, I was a new girl who moved a thousand miles away from her friends to this suburb of Milwaukee. This was new to me, I’ve done this dance before and I knew this daughter of my mom’s friend, she being Taylor. On the first day of school, I was focused on nothing but getting through the day and trying not to burst into tears. I paid little attention to my whereabouts and just looked around blind. My first class was an engineering course my parents enrolled me in. I didn’t want and still don’t want to be an engineer but my parents do. So I walked into class, and figured I’m the only girl in there. I could hear the snickers in the distance as I walked around with the class while Mr. Christian, my teacher, showed off the room. After the tour, he took me aside and said I wasn’t the only girl in the course so don’t worry. I nodded and walked to my second class quietly as the bell rang. A boy stopped me, he was blonde and wearing a football jersey and introduced him as Ryan. I shook his hand and walked by, still not talking and holding back tears, but grateful for the introduction.
Wearing a worried expression I walked into English Honors and sat down on a seat to the right. I noticed the teacher, Ms. Veeder, milling around at her desk. I looked down at my summer work, which I was fairly proud of. I raised my hand slightly and shyly asked “Er…what do we do with our summer work?” she didn’t answer and continued to mill around until the bell rang for the next class. She stood there for a few seconds and suddenly burst into “BREATHE, JUST BREATHE” She was standing there in a zebra striped outfit, complete with a dress, shoes and head band. She spent the rest of the period ranting on about how English Honors is hard and how we made it to highschool. The class wandered out of her classroom and onto the next.
